The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats. Harry pushed his cart off down the platform in search of an empty seat. He passed a round-faced boy who was saying, “Gran, I’ve lost my toad again.”
“Oh, Neville,” he heard the old woman sigh.
A boy with dreadlocks was surrounded by a small crowd.
“Give us a look, Lee, go on.”

这个男孩用手臂抬起了一个盒子，接着围观的人开始大喊尖叫，因为从里面伸出了一只长长的、毛茸茸的腿。
哈利向前挤直到临近列车尾部的时候发现了一个空的车厢。
他先把海德薇放了进去，然后开始朝着列车门的方向用力推举他的行李箱。
他尝试把行李箱抬到台阶上但是连一个台阶都没有抬上去，第二次的时候行李箱重重地砸在了他的脚上。
“要帮忙吗？”是他先前跟的红发双胞胎中的一个。
“谢谢，麻烦了。”哈利气喘吁吁地说。
“哦，fred！过来帮忙”
在这两个兄弟的帮忙下，哈利的行李箱终于塞进了车厢角落里。
“谢谢，”哈利说，拨了拨他满是汗水的头发。
“那是什么？”双胞胎突然说道，指着哈利的闪电伤疤。
