[:-1]其实就是去除了最后一个元素后剩下的部分

例如在字符串中
line = "abcde"
line[:-1]
结果为：'abcd'

       楼主的代码中，上面 2 句带[: -1]，这种写法表示从字符串 text_after 第一个字符开始，到倒数第一个字符（不包括）切片，也就是字符串 text_after 扣除最后一个字符构成的子串。

       只要在 IDLE 中试一下下面的代码就清楚了：

2. print(s[:-1])
